2018 Peking University International Nursing Conference was held from October 20-21, 2018 at Taishan Hotel, Beijing. Professor Smi Choi-Kown, Dean of College of Nursing, Seoul National University, was invited to the opening ceremony, Dean's forum and MOU signing ceremony. Prof. Choi gave a keynote speech named Quality of Life in Stroke Patients: Translational Approach.

On October 20, 2018, Professor Shaomei Shang, Dean of Peking University School of Nursing and Professor Smi Choi-Kown, signed MOU. According to the MOU, both sides will closely collaborate in the next few years to promote projects such as visit of faculty members and research scholars, joint research activities and organization of joint conferences. Dr. Qiaoqin Wan, Assistant Dean of PKUSON, also attended the signing ceremony. During the discussion, both parties agreed to promote bilateral collaboration and work on annual forum with other prominent universities in Asia.
